
The University of Zambia Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Boniface Namangala, says students scheduled to sit for Mid-year examinations are expected to report back to Campus on Saturday, 18th July, 2026, ahead of the mid-year examinations which run from 20 July, 2026 to 31 July, 2026, following the completion of rehabilitation of sanitation infrastructure.
In a statement, Prof. Namangala says other students who are not scheduled to sit for Mid-year examinations will report back to Campus on Saturday, 1st August, 2026.
He says the Mid-year examination results will be published at the end of the 2025/26 academic year, together with the 2025/26 academic year final examination results.
On 17th June, 2026, Senate postponed the return of students scheduled to sit for Mid-year examinations until further notice as a result of the rehabilitation works on the University’s water and sewer infrastructure.
On Monday, the Zambia National Service Commander Lieutenant General Maliti Solochi handed over the infrastructure to the university after completion of rehabilitation following its closure in April this year.
