Ministry of Defense Permanent Secretary Maambo Haamaundu says the closure of the University of Zambia will quicken the rehabilitation of the sewage system.
Speaking during the tour of the on going works at the University, Mr. Hamaundu says excavation of the sewage system and drainage has been done adding that equipment will be at the institution in 8 days.
He adds that part of the sewage system will be completed in 6 weeks acknowledging the challenges caused by closure of the University for the students.
