The under 20 boys national team has commenced its preparations for the Egypt 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that will be held through a zonal format.
The COSAFA tournament which acts as qualifiers will run from October 6 to 16 in Eswatini.
Speaking after Tuesday’s training session, U20 national team coach Chisi Mbewe says the boys are putting in their effort knowing that there’s a huge task of qualifying to the AFCON which they can accomplish by doing well at the COSAFA cup.
He adds that the team’s main target is to qualify for the Africa cup by making sure they fight their way through to the COSAFA finals.
