International Truck drivers have resumed operation into the Democratic Republic of Congo through Kasumbalesa Border after days of protest over security concerns in that country.
The standoff resulted into collapse of business at the border and hundreds of trucks marooned.
And Chililabombwe District Commissioner Precious Njekwa says the resumption of work is as a result of bilateral talks led by Minister of Defense, Ambrose Lufuma, and Katanga deputy governor Jean-Claud Kamfwa.
