TopStar Communications Company Limited says the absence of Super League matches on its platform is due to the Zambia Premier League (ZPL) failing to supply live match feeds.
This follows a 72-hour ultimatum granted by the Football Association of Zambia to the Zambian Premier League and TopStar to resolve a broadcast dispute that has kept Super League football off television screens since November 2025.
In a statement, the broadcaster says it has not received any signal from production companies engaged by ZPL since November 2025.
TopStar explained that ZPL’s responsibility is to engage and manage production houses to generate the live feed, while its mandate is strictly to distribute the content to viewers.
The Zambian Premier League is yet to respond.
