Tonse Youth Chairman Celestine Mukandila has strongly condemned the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) for what he described as a negligent and deliberate act of posting the wrong party symbol for the New Congress Party (NCP) on their official Facebook page.
Mr. Mukandila accused the ECZ of compromising the integrity of the party and misleading voters, despite having acknowledged the error in a formal letter.
He further criticized the Commission for failing to correct the online post promptly, labeling this as a sign of incompetence.
In addition to the symbol error, Mr. Mukandila expressed concern over the ongoing political violence in the lead-up to the Lumezi parliamentary by-election.
