STROKE LEAVES 55-YEAR-OLD BETTY KAMOCHA ’S FAMILY STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE

.

A 55-year-old woman of Garden House Betty Kamocha, who suffered a stroke in April last year, is facing severe hardships as her family struggles to meet basic needs.

Once an active woman, Ms Betty now depends entirely on others for her daily needs a reality that has placed an overwhelming financial and emotional burden on her family.

Her youngest son, Keith 27, has become the primary breadwinner, surviving on irregular piecework that barely covers food for the household.

With no stable income, the family struggles to pay the caregiver who looks after Betty, often going without essential supplies.

Among their most pressing needs are adult diapers and a wheelchair to help move her safely and without these basics, her comfort and dignity are compromised every day.

Their wish is for well wishers to come on board and help them.
