The Energy Regulation Board has cautioned Oil Marketing Companies from hoarding petroleum products causing sporadic shortages a few days before fuel pump price adjustments.

Speaking during the media tour of some energy facilities in Lusaka, ERB Engineer of Fossil Fuels Moses Mwambeni says the Board will not condone such retrogressive acts among OMCs.

Mr. Mwambeni adds that the Regulator will continue embarking on routine physical and remote inspections of key energy installations to ensure quality and safety.

ERB Public Relations Manager Namukolo Kasumpa has challenged members of the public to champion safe modes of refueling by disembarking from public service vehicles.
