Lawyers representing former President Edgar Lungu’s associate Chrint Sichamba say their client will be tortured if he is not allowed to access his frozen bank account to enable him to obtain medical attention in Dubai.
The lawyers say such a decision if made will also amount to cruelty and inhuman treatment.
Mr. Sichamba who is currently facing 130 corruption charges with his wife, Nambela, and Son, David, before the Economic and Financial Crimes Court has an impaired ability to focus and concentrate on issues.
