Prosecutors from the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) has called their 18th witness in the murder trial of Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) Director General Guntila Muleya.
The witness, Precious Ngo’nomo, is expected to present findings from the fingerprint examination conducted on an AK-47 rifle linked to the case.
She is scheduled to complete her testimony tomorrow, October 8, 2025, before being subjected to cross-examination.
In her brief testimony so far, Ms. Ngo’nomo disclosed that nine hinge lifters were collected from an abandoned vehicle and another nine from an AK-47 rifle that had been lifted from Inspector Kazimoto.
She has also confirmed obtaining fingerprints from the four accused M’Thusani Dokowe, Caleb Zulu, Francis Chipyoka, and Samuel Dokowe.
An earlier witness testified that Samuel Dokowe’s fingerprints matched those lifted from Mr. Muleya’s vehicle, which was allegedly abandoned at a garage in Lusaka’s Chawama Compound.
