A mob has demolished Mununga Police Post in Chienge District after forcibly breaking into the facility and attacking a murder suspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grace Kaoma’s body was found buried in a bush near her farming field, showing signs of assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>Police investigations quickly pointed to Kaoma’s former husband, Derrick Mwale, as the prime suspect, who was apprehended and detained at Mununga Police Post last on Monday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon learning of Mwale\u2019s detention, the enraged mob descended on the police post, overwhelmed the officers on duty, and broke into the cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
