A woman of Choma District in Southern Province has died after allegedly being beaten by her late husband\u2019s relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
31-year-old Esnart Daka of Zambia Compound was accused of being behind the death of Rodgers Chipango.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, Chipango\u2019s relatives pounced on Daka after the latter informed them about her husband\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chipango died on May 18th, 2024, after falling sick the previous night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police further add that the deceased\u2019s mother, Rabecca Sakala, rushed her daughter to Shampande clinic after the beating, but unfortunately, she did not make it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before her death, she had complained of chest pains and backache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Post-mortem results have shown that she died of head injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
