Southern Province\u00a0Minister,\u00a0Credo Nanjuwa\u00a0has revealed that a\u00a0one-year-old\u00a0baby\u00a0has been admitted to Livingstone Hospital for Anthrax after consuming\u00a0suspected\u00a0buffalo meat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka, Mr. Nanjuwa also disclosed that a truckload of meat bound for Lusaka was intercepted on Monday last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He adds that over 90,000 vaccines have been provided to Southern Province to contain the outbreak of anthrax as the province has the highest number of cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Nanjuwa who is also UPND Chairperson for Livestock and Fisheries has called on all the party structures\u00a0countrywide\u00a0to sensitise the people\u00a0on preventive measures of anthrax.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
