Police in Lusaka have charged and arrested Patriotic Front (PF) presidential hopeful Emmanuel Mwamba for allegedly forging a presidential letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Mwamba has been jointly charged with two bloggers behind PF social media pages in connection to false publication of letters disguised as presidential directives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The letters alleged that President Hakainde Hichilema instructed the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security to contain the influence of the Catholics in Zambia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has since been released on bond pending court appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the two bloggers behind Patriotic Front socials pages identified as Andy Luki and Thomson Phiri have remained in police custody since Wednesday this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
