Airtel Networks Zambia has launched high definition (HD) calls, the first ever in Zambia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during the launch in Lusaka, Airtel Zambia Managing Director Manu Sood says with HD calls, people can browse while on a phone call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Sood says the company is investing millions of dollars for the best network upgrades in totaling 50 million dollars for spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Minister of Technology and Science Felix Mutati says the launch of HD calls is critical innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Mutati says government will continue supporting and collaborating with the private sector in enhancing the country’s technological growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
