On 21st March 2023, a 28-year-old Malawian was caught abusing a chicken in Chipangali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zandonda Phiri caught Chibande Phiri of Tsapila Village in Chief Mnukwa in the act around 04:30hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phiri was later arrested and charged with the offence of Bestiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Section 155 CAP 87 of the Laws of Zambia, any person who has carnal knowledge of an animal is guilty of a felony and is liable to a 14-year imprisonment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
