Some Copperbelt University Students who were left out during selection for bursaries have appealed to government to consider awarding them bursaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One <\/a>of the affected students, Virgilio Kalimanshi laments that it is the third time he has applied for a bursary, but he has been left out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kalimanshi says education means a lot to him because he is the first one in his family to have completed a secondary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kalimanshi adds that if his appeal is not considered, he will lose an opportunity to better the lives of his parents and the rest of the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concerned student alongside his colleagues has vowed to spend a night at the Ministry of General Education until the minister Douglas Syakalima intervenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
