A thirty-six-year-old woman of Lusaka has allegedly been murdered by two men believed to be her boyfriends after they discovered she was cheating.
Zambia Police Assistant Public Relations Officer, Godfrey Chilabi, confirms that the incident occurred yesterday, January 29, 2023.
The victim, identified as Yvonne Kabwe, sustained a swollen right cheek, face and general body pains after receiving a beating from two men that could only be identified as Derrick and Kebby.
According to police investigations, on the fateful date, the deceased reported to her employer that she was not feeling too well, without divulging any further details.
Later, information came to the employer’s knowledge that the maid had allegedly been beaten.
The body of the deceased was deposited to the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem while the two suspects are still on the run.
