Over 290 families of Lusaka’s Barlaston Park Villa are on verge of losing their houses after a woman Edna Tembo emerged claiming title to the land on which they built.
The residents have told diamond news that they bought the land in 2007 to a man who is now late but before they could process title, Ms. Tembo had showed up, claiming ownership of the land in question.
The families have asked government to come to their aid.
