Mufulira Municipal council in conjunction with Kazang have launched a digital payment platform aimed at easing the collection of revenue by the local authority.
This is a milestone for the district, as it is the first ever to use this platform in the country as a means of collecting revenue.
Speaking during the launch, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Garry Nkombo, says the platform is meant to improve generation of local revenue.

Meanwhile, Kantanshi Constituency Member of Parliament, Anthony Mumba says the digital payment will reduce corruption, especially around land acquisition.
