The Luapula Chamber of Commerce has called on President Hakainde Hichilema to fire non-performing government officials.
Chamber President Emmanuel Musanje says there are so many officials whose Ministries are underperforming and keeping their jobs is a waste of taxpayers’ money.
Mr Munsanje says the head of state has already identified who falls short of public expectation hence it is only right that he replaces them with more efficient individuals.

Earlier in the week, President Hichilema held a meeting with Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Directors where he expressed his displeasure over inconsistences that he says will not be condoned because citizens deserve transparent and efficient service delivery.
