A 43-year-old man of Lusaka has been divorced for threatening to commit suicide after his spouse refused to share the rental bill.
In this matter, Anna Chishimba, aged 35, sued Jonathan Makunga before the Matero Local Court, for divorce.
Chishimba narrated that her husband has failed to provide for their home, and has a tendency of deserting the home whenever he gets paid.

In his defence, Makunga said his wife refused to help with bills, despite having been promoted at her job.
In passing judgment, Magistrate Harriet Mulenga divorced the couple because both parties were not willing to reconcile.
No compensation was awarded to both parties.
