The Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company is investigating the quality of unpurified water in Kafue River.
This follows a report done by Diamond News in which residents of Lusaka’s Matero and Kaunda Square compounds expressed concerns over brown water flowing from their taps.
The residents complained that the alleged contaminated water is a health risk and called on the water utility company to look into the matter.
