The Lusaka High Court has denied bail for the Lusaka Pilot linked to the gold scam case.
In this matter, Patrick Kawanu is jointly charged with Shadreck Kasanda, Jim Belemu and Francis Mateyo with the offence of Espionage.
The Lusaka High Court says it cannot grant bail because the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) already issued a certificate denying the accused bail on grounds that the State might be prejudiced.

Meanwhile, the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has slapped Shadreck Kasanda with another offence of Aggravated Robbery.
