KAPIRI-MPOSHI ROAD MISHAP KILLS FOUR PEOPLE

Four people have died after two vehicles collided on the Ndola High Way at Katanino trading area, approximately 45 kilometers north of Kapiri-Mposhi District.

Eleven others are said to be hospitalized at Kapiri-Mposhi General Hospital nursing serious injuries.

The vehicles, a tanker truck and a light truck are believed to have collided after the light truck improperly tried to overtake.

Police have since launched a manhunt for the driver of the light truck who fled the scene after the accident.
