The latest Auditor General’s Report for the financial year ending December 31, 2021, has revealed that a cashier at the Immigration Department Headquarters in Lusaka misappropriated revenue amounting to Three point One Million (K 3.1 million) Kwacha.
According to the report, the said funds were embezzled between 1st January and 11th June 2021.
The report adds that inquiries reveal that only One point Nine Million (K1.9 million) has been recovered.
