National Heart Hospital Senior Medical Superintendent Dr. Chabwela Shumba says former Chipolopolo Captain Enock Mwepu is in high spirits as his medical assessments continue.
Mwepu was on Sunday January 15, 2023, taken ill at the heart hospital.
Dr. Shumba was speaking when Sports Minister Elvis Nkandu visited the former Brighton midfielder at the National Heart Hospital in Lusaka where he is admitted.

Meanwhile, Nkandu has called on the nation to pray for the 2017 U-20 winning midfielder who had his promising football career cut short in October 2022 after being diagnosed with a hereditary heart condition.
