Police in Chinsali have killed a 28-year-old man of Mulolo Village in an effort to quell an angry mob that attacked a man on suspicion of practicing Witchcraft.
The incident happened on Saturday, 2nd September, at a funeral, when villagers rose up against a man named Joseph Chanda, calling him a wizard, attacked him and razed his house.
Jackson Mukuka died at Chinsali General Hospital on Sunday morning.

The family has called the action by police as the highest level of irresponsibility to shoot at the mob.
Muchinga Police Deputy Commanding Officer, Ronald Zambo, has confirmed the incident to Diamond news.
