The body pulled from Lake Mweru Wantipa on Sunday has been positively identified as that of 38-year-old Noah Mulumbwa, a Congolese national of Katanga District, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The deceased’s brother, Elisha Mukwabi identified the body but could not give further details of what transpired.
Luapula Province Commanding Officer Fwambo Siame says the body has since been handed over to the family for burial.
