ACC WARNS, CAUTIONS EX- PS AND BUSINESSMAN OVER CONTRACT WORTH 400 MILLION DOLLARS

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has warned and cautioned former ministry of Defense Permanent Secretary, Stardy Mwale and Savenda Group of Companies Director and shareholder, Clever Mpoha.

This is in relation to alleged corruption involved in the awarding of a contract for the modernisation of the Zambian armed forces worth 400 million dollars.

The said contract was awarded to Elbit system by the Zambian government.

Sources have told Diamond News that the contract also involves the purchase of a presidential jet.

Investigations into the matter have continued.
