The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has recorded an ordinary statement on former Agriculture Minister Michael Katambo over a contract he entered into with former Tourism Minister, Ronald Chitotela for the supply of 2,800 metric tons of white non – GMO Maize worth over K575, 000.
Mr. Katambo’s lawyer Jonas Zimba, has confirmed the development.
In this matter, it has been alleged that Mr. Katambo bought the said maize from Mr. Chitotela using money reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
