A woman of Lusaka standing before the Lusaka High Court, has denied allegations of abandoning her 2-year-old child that had later died in 2021.
This is in a matter in which Suwilanji Luywa Nyame is being charged with one count of child destruction.
When the matter came up before Judge Charles Zulu, the accused pleaded not guilty.
Ms. Nyame was committed to the High Court for trial in this matter by the Lusaka Magistrate Court in 2021.
