Enumerators who participated in the just ended 2022 National Census in Kitwe this morning stormed the District Commissioner’s office demanding payment of their sitting and lunch allowances.
The enumerators wondered why some banks are chasing them away, stating that their accounts have not been credited.
The Enumerators disclosed that they are owed over three thousand Kwacha each on sitting allowances and one thousand seven hundred Kwacha in meal allowances.

And Kitwe District Commissioner Lawrence Mwanza assured the enumerators that their money will be paid, stating that the delay is due to bulky accounts being cleared.
