Residents of Nabuyane Village in Kolomo district of Southern Province are drinking water from the same dam with their animals.
The residents have lamented that the area has no clean water and the Nabuyane dam is not providing enough water to sustain the village.
Minister of Water Development and Sanitation, Mike Mposha, has told the residents that 10 dams will be constructed in the province and about 3000 boreholes will be drilled countrywide.
Mr. Mposha says government wants all citizens to have access to clean and safe water by 2030.
