Solwezi Central Member of Parliament Stafford Mulusa has warned officials at Solwezi Municipal Council against sabotaging government by failing to implement projects under the enhanced Constituency development fund.
Speaking during an inspection of some 2022 CDF projects in Solwezi, Mr. Mulusa is disappointed that some CDF projects such as construction of classroom blocks have stalled because the local authority has failed to pay contractors on time.
The lawmaker has wondered why the council is delaying to pay contractors when government has made funds readily available.
