Government has announced that security wings will begin motorized and foot patrols in all residential compounds of Lusaka following an increase in crime.
Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Jack Mwiimbu says police have received several reports of women being harassed and property being stolen by criminals.
He notes that criminals are taking advantage of the freedom under the new dawn government.
Mr. Mwiimbu says all Security Officers will be in uniforms during the exercise and citizens must cooperate.
