SAMPA RESTRUCTURES PF, DISSOLVES CENTRAL COMMITTEE

Patriotic Front (PF) faction President Miles Sampa has announced a major shake-up in the party, dissolving the Central Committee and all Provincial Chairpersons with immediate effect to restructure and unify the former ruling party.

Mr. Sampa has since appointed new provincial leaders, including Oma Munsanje (Southern), Emmanuel Meleki (North-Western), Simon Lwando (Luapula), Petronella Nkumbula (Northern), Joseph Makukula (Eastern), Billy Sichamba (Central), and Chrispin Kabole (Lusaka).

Lusaka Youth Provincial Chairman Papa Gunase has also been elevated to the Central Committee alongside presidential aspirant Willa Mudolo.

Mr. Sampa says the changes are aimed at strengthening party structures and promoting unity.

He adds that he remains committed to facilitating a leadership process that reflects the will of party members, while engaging presidential aspirants to consolidate the party ahead of future elections.

He has since offered Given Lubinda the Chairperson position of the Pamodzi Alliance, relinquishing the role himself.
