The Rwandan Refugees Association in Zambia has condemned the manufacturing of fake consumable products by suspected Rwandan Nationals.
The Association has distanced itself from any acts that may endanger both Zambians and genuine Rwandan nationals who have enjoyed refuge in Zambia for the last thirty years.
Association Spokesperson Jean Claude Ntihabose has revealed that some unscrupulous individuals carrying Rwandan passports purporting to be investors are responsible for the vice.
Mr. Ntihabose has called on the Immigration Department, Zambia Bureau of Standards, and other various licensing authorities to strengthen monitoring to enhance compliance.
