The Teaching Service Commission has announced that the recruitment exercise for 4,500 teachers is underway.
Teaching Service Commission Acting Chairperson, Fridah Lukwesa, says the commission is clearing the system to create space for more teachers to be recruited.
Ms. Lukwesa has however not disclosed how long the clearing exercise will take but has assured that soon an announcement will be made.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Information and Media Director, Thabo Kawana has assured hopeful candidates that government will deliver as promised.
