A fire has destroyed property worth thousands of kwacha belonging to Mr Maimba, a resident of Chunga in Lusaka.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, September 25, 2025, after suspected thieves broke into the premises looking for scrap metals and car spare parts before setting the place on fire.
Speaking to Diamond News, Mr Maimba’s daughter Agness Maimba said this was not the first time their property had been targeted by criminals with threats to harm her father.
The Zambia Police Service is yet to release a statement on the matter.
