President Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated the need for Zambia to work with foreign countries that are equipped with advanced technology, to address border security concerns.
Speaking in an interactive meeting with journalists, the head of state expressed concern over the 27 bodies of migrants, who were recently dumped in Lusaka’s Ngwerere area.
Meanwhile, the Immigration Department has launched the review of Immigration and Deportation Act 18 of 2010.
Speaking at the launch, the Ministry of Home Affairs Permanent Secretary, Joseph Akafumba, urged the immigration department to adopt the best immigration and deportation practices.
