The Zambia Police Service has launched investigations into a viral social media video showing an alleged assault involving passengers in a motor vehicle.
According to Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi, the video depicts a passenger in a Toyota Vitz, registration number BAX 4848, allegedly assaulting another passenger seated in the rear of the vehicle.
He furthur says police forensic experts are reviewing the footage to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the individuals involved.
Mr. Chilabi has appealed to members of the public with information that may assist the investigation to report to the nearest police station.
