Police have intercepted 391 tonnes of cobalt ore and concentrate in Lusaka’s Makeni area.
Acting Police Spokesperson, Danny Mwale, says police discovered the property at a warehouse while investigating another matter of theft.
Mr. Mwale says police have been investigating the theft of 35 tonnes of cobalt which occurred on the Copperbelt province.
Mr. Mwale says no arrests have been made and the items remain in the custody of the police.
