Former Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda has been detained at Woodlands Police Station in Lusaka.
Before his detention, a joint team of investigators conducted a search at his residences in Lusaka’s New Kasama and Ngwerere area.
According to sources close to the case, Mr Chanda has been allegedly evading Police Call-Outs in relation to a case involving the disposal of ZRA motor vehicles without lawful procedure.
It has been alleged that the complainant in this matter is current ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda who previously deputized Mr. Chanda at the institution.
