Police in Central Province have confiscated a gold detector machine, CD 7000, from four suspected illegal miners.
The four were apprehended on sunday night at Workman’s Gold Mine in Mumbwa, for criminal trespass.
The suspects are currently being detained at Mumbwa Police Station awaiting court appearance.
This is according to a statement availed to Diamond media by Central Province Police Commanding Officer, Chileshe Mukuka.
