The Patriotic Front party has vowed to go ahead with a protest against the just ended Summit for Democracy held in Lusaka.

Speaking at a press briefing at Parliament in Lusaka, leader of the opposition Brian Mundubile says no amount of intimidation will stop the former ruling party from exercising its constitutional right to be heard on matters that affect citizens.

Mr. Mundubile has described it as shame that the country went ahead to co-host the summit alleging that it does not have requisite democratic credentials to hold such a global meeting, due to increased political intolerance.

On Wednesday, Inspector General of Police Lemmy Kajoba warned that any acts that aim to breach peace around this time of the week will not be condoned, especially that the country expects the arrival of US Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday.
