Former President Edgar Lungu has charged that the Patriotic Front has not lost its Christian values despite being booted out of power.
Speaking after attending a church service at St John’s UCZ in Lusaka’s Mtendere compound, Mr Lungu says the former ruling party will continue fostering Christian values even in opposition.
Responding to comments from sections of the media about his church visits, the former Head of State says he will not shy away from responding to those who are trying to politicize his church visits.
He adds that he will continue going to various churches as he owes no one an explanation or apology for believing in God.
And in his sermon, St John’s UCZ Reverend in Charge Robert Gama urged Christians to demonstrate their faith through Godly character.
