The Energy Regulation Board has adjusted upwards the pump prices of petrol by 3.85 ngwee per litre while diesel has been adjusted by 3.52 ngwee per litre.
ERB Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa says the pump price of petrol will move from K25.57 to 29.42 while diesel has been adjusted from K23.36 to K26.88.
Mr. Bowa says the increase has been triggered by tight oil supply internationally as well as the poor performance of the exchange rate.
Lusaka motorists have described the adjustment as one that makes planning difficult.
