Persons with concerns who have been camping at the Zambia Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD) offices in Lusaka have now been relocated by the police to Showgrounds.
The people had setup camp at the offices and crippled normal operations of ZAPD for over a month in protest over management.
But last evening, police moved in and dumped the affected at the Showgrounds and advised them to find their way home.
However, in an interview with Diamond News, one of the victims Peter Nkunika says they will not stop the protest until ZAPD Board employs Mr. Nicholas Goma as Director General for ZAPD.
But ZAPD Board Chairperson Moses Luneta says the plea by the group for Mr. Goma is not attainable.
Mr. Luneta has since advised the said group to be patient and wait for a new Director General at the institution.
The Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities is a quasi-Government Institution established to look at the welfare of people with concern.
