Members of Parliament have received new Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) guidelines with mixed feelings.
Leader of Opposition, Brian Mundubile, has told Diamond News that the UPND government should implement the new guidelines in a phased approach.
Mr. Mundubile says an audit must be conducted to determine the correct beneficiaries so that deserving farmers can benefit.
But Zambia National Farmers Union Public Relations Manager Kelvin Kaleyi has welcomed new FISP guidelines saying they will ensure fairness in the distribution process.
